This is a multi story mountain home, designed for fun and easy access to many local amenities. Sits up on hill so its has privacy and is still walking distance to Bear Mountain. You can literally look down into Moonridge Zoo, it has many of the local animals that you would find in the mountains if you were a tracker. The Bear Mountain ski area is the most challenging ski area in So. California. Sit on your upper deck and enjoy a hot latte and take in the spectacular view of the ski slopes. There is a free 300 movie library available upon check in. Fireplace, foosball, telescope, full kitchen, large deck, everything you’d want for weekend end getaway to mountains.

We had such a great time in this lodge. It is a really nice place to stay at. It has all the comfort and coziness for a perfect family vacation. I loved the kitchen and the jacuzzi. The four of us stayed at Sugar Bear Lodge for the weekend and fell in love with it. It is very cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed cooking in the large and open kitchen, bbq’ing on the snowy deck, sinking into the warm hot tub, sledding down the hill that is just a few steps away and curling up to the fire and relaxing with a glass of wine. It is also just a short drive into town, where they have some cute places to shop and eat. The beds were very comfortable and big. The owner, Tara, was a pleasure to deal with and she made everything super easy. We are talking about planning a trip back to Big Bear in the summer. I don’t think there will be any mystery as to where we end up staying!

Beautiful cabin! Everything was new, modern and comfortable. It was clean and spacious and had all the comforts you find at home all the way from cable to a washer and dryer. The hot tub was also exactly what we needed to relax at the end of the day. Anything you might need was there and the owner was friendly and easy to get in contact with at any time. We had a great time and would like to visit this cabin again next year.
